One of my best friends was getting married and looking for the perfect place to stay while she gets ready for her big day and spend her wedding night. There wasn’t any competition after seeing the stunning Waterfront Suite at the Hyatt Place Long Island East End. After she booked her room, I knew I had to book one here as well. Not only was it near her wedding venue in West Hampton Beach, but it is in an ideal location for nearby attractions such as the Tanger Outlet Mall, wineries, beaches and the Long Island Aquarium which is right next door.
There are two pools both indoor and outdoor, so you can choose if you want to tan or have a relaxing indoor swim. Another plus is the free continental breakfast which is served daily. There are other dining options, perfect if you want to spend time in the hotel to take advantage of the pools. Since I was busy with wedding activities, I did not have time to eat here but I did manage to grab a late night hot molten lava cake! I walked into the hotel after a long day, spotted the deserts by the Starbucks and couldn’t resist picking one up to bring back to my room. I did not regret it!
My friend Jeanine, stayed in the Waterfront Suite which overlooked the marina. Once inside, I felt like I was in an apartment. The suite had everything you would need… kitchen, living room, dining area, separate bedroom.. we were all set! I was glad it was huge so we did not have to cram on top of each other, as there were a lot of people getting ready in there! The decor was extremely fitting with the waterfront theme, as light shined through the rooms, making the beautiful blue walls pop. The lighting also made it a lot easier for hair and makeup!
I stayed in a standard room with a giant king bed that I never wanted to leave. It also had a living room area which was where I devoured my molten as I watched television! After I put myself into a late night food coma, I hopped into bed where I finished watching the rest of my tv reruns as I easily dozed off. Any possible way I can order the bed for myself to bring home?
**Thank you Hyatt Place Long Island East End for my stay, as always, my opinions are my own.
