Nikki Beach has been dubbed the “Sexiest Place on Earth” due to its chic and lavish beach clubs all over the world, but now you don’t have to leave at the end of the day! Nikki Beach in Koh Samui has expanded the brand with a luxury boutique beach resort on one of the most beautiful islands in Thailand. Staying at Nikki Beach Resort is an easy decision if you are looking for the ultimate VIP experience on a magnificent property with outstanding food.
The Rooms at Nikki Beach Resort
My room was quite simply brilliant, with its double doors opening out to an amazing 75 meter long swimming pool. I only had to walk a few feet to reach it from my patio, which was equipped with a couch and lounge chair.
The room itself had king sized bed facing a flat screen television, loaded with premium channels. I will admit, I took a break from the sun a few times to watch a movie on HBO while snacking on my complimentary fruit. Can you blame me?
There is a private 75 meter long pool (for guests only), so if you want to get away from the beach club, it is the perfect tranquil atmosphere.
The luxurious pool at the Beach Club is surrounded by sun beds and palm trees, it is truly paradise. It is not surprising I spent most of my time here indulging in the top four things you need to do at a beach resort.. sun bathing, eating, drinking and swimming. Mission accomplished!
Since it is a beach resort, of course the beach is only a few steps down from the pool deck. The beach was also pretty amazing, so I did a little floating around on the waves. Basically whether you prefer the beach or the pool you will have a fantastic time.
Restaurants at Nikki Beach Resort
The Bakery Café has an almost endless amount of delicious treats for you to choose from. It is also where the complimentary breakfast is served. I was especially keen on the freshly prepared eggs and I stocked up in the breakfast buffet, filling my plate with fruit, quiche, pastries, M&M pancakes. It was delicious, but I could hardly move after it!
Nikki Beach Restaurant has a perfect variety of Western and Thai food to fit almost any craving. I took full advantage of the outstanding food prepared by the resorts chef Julian Pou. I primarily ordered Western food since I have been traveling around Thailand for the past month and had basically had my fill of it! I was ready to switch things up and ordered the perfect poolside food.. salads, wraps and snacks.
Amazing Sunday Brunch at Nikki Beach Resort
Since they are famous (some might say infamous!) for their Sunday brunch parties, I knew I could not visit Koh Samui without making sure I was here on a Sunday. The brunch starts off with a buffet of various food stations. If you are in the mood for breakfast then head over to the waffle and omelet stations before adding on some other choices such as bacon, sausage and potatoes. If you are looking for lunch dishes then grab some mac & cheese, burgers, pulled pork sliders, pasta and salad or stroll over to the carving or seafood and sushi stations. Actually, you might just want to close your eyes, spin and wherever your eyes open towards, grab a plate and fill up as the options are overwhelming! I had an incredibly hard time choosing what to eat. Thankfully, the food is served from 11am to 4pm, so I was able to go back after I got my second wind.
For dessert (and yes, I somehow had room for dessert), personalize your own crepe with fruit and refreshing ice cream or select a few sweets from the dessert counter.
My brunch experience was topped off by laying around the pool, before I took a swim (I have to burn off those treats somehow). At which point I was ready to grab a drink and dance to one of the best DJs around! You are guaranteed to have an amazing time. It is no wonder Nikki Beach has the reputation it does for being an impossible place not to have a “Sexy” time!
