There are many things to do in Guanacaste, Costa Rica. This area of the country is located along the Pacific Ocean in the northwestern part of the country, bordering Nicaragua. It looks small on a map, but it is made up of a number of towns, which have a variety of beaches, national parks and activities. When booking your trip, Liberia International Airport is the most convenient airport to fly into. Taxis can be expensive so I recommend taking a bus or shuttle bus, as you will save a decent amount of money that way and they are almost as convenient as taking a taxi.
There are many beach towns to visit, but these are the three that I went to and absolutely fell in love with. Each one has a completely different vibe than the others and the three beaches I visited were full of fun things to do!
