Emirates Palace goes beyond 5 star luxury with its stunning Arabic architecture, high quality service, award winning cuisine and top line amenities. Once I saw the place, I knew that I could not go to Abu Dhabi without staying here, because it would not have been good enough. I had to stay and get the full Emirates Palace experience.
Located in the heart of Abu Dhabi, it is close to the airport and main attractions such as the Sheikh Zayed Mosque and Marina Mall, making it incredibly convenient.
Rooms & Suites
I stayed in a “standard” room, but there was honestly nothing standard about it! You get your own personal butler to assist you, so when I arrived at my room, my butler brought me a huge dish of date palms and fresh orange juice to welcome me.
After he left, I immediately tested out the bed, which was of course heavenly. The view from my room, was absolutely stunning, so I decided to camp out on my private terrace for a while and take it all in before heading to the beach for even more relaxation. It’s a tough life!
I had the opportunity to tour one of the suites, which was incredibly lavish, decorated with gold and marble. You won’t run out of space, as these suites are simply enormous with multiple bedrooms, bathrooms and living rooms making it a true home away from home. Well, if you live in a palace!
After I checked in, I was given a tour of the property and then escorted to my room. Good thing, otherwise I would have been lost as the palace is enormous! There is so much to do on the property, you don’t even have to leave. It has a 1.3km private beach and two pool areas, with one on the East side of the palace and the other on the west side.
You are spoiled for choice with dining options, with a real variety of restaurants and cafes to fit your every craving. Since I like to taste a bit of everything, I ate in Le Vendôme, which has a premium international selection that sets a whole new standard for buffets. I didn’t know where to begin! I spent a little too much time here, so by the end of it I was in a bit of a food coma.
Of course, I was back again the next morning to try the breakfast. One of the things I appreciated was that you were given a menu to order from for any egg dishes, instead of picking them up from a station, to ensure the freshest quality.
Emirates Palace has a new VIP Gentlemen’s Tonic Club that you can join to receive high quality grooming treatment. As a member, you get a full grooming kit along with premium haircuts, spa treatments, manicures, pedicures and more, depending on which package you purchase. Another perk you receive are special discounts that you can use throughout the palace and exclusive event invites.
You can also join the Beach Club, for access to activities such as cycling and jogging paths, yoga classes, watersports, tennis courts, as well as cricket, rugby and soccer facilities.
As you can see, the luxurious selections are endless at Emirates Palace. Whether you are staying with family, here for business or on a romantic getaway, there is something to fit everyone’s needs. Trust me, you won’t want to leave!
**Thank you Emirates Palace for hosting me during my stay in Abu Dhabi. As always, my options are my own.
